“Quadrinhópole” was originally a Brazilian comic magazine, independently published in the period from October/2006 to October/2009. The magazine published eight issues, and in 2008 won the HQMIX – a kind of “Will Eisner Award” in Brazil - for Best Independent Magazine.
 
In 2011, Quadrinhópole became a publisher and distribuitor for digital comics, targeting the worldwide market. Thus, there was a change in your name and your brand, becoming "Quadrinhópole Digital Comics" - or simply QD Comics - for better identification with the public outside Brazil.
 
Currently, the goal of QD Comics is to produce and distribute digital comics on the Internet for online reading, which can be done either through PCs and notebook as through tablets and similar. The available comics are either for sale as for free and purchase prices are varied, as the author / publisher of the comic are who sets the value they judge ideal.
 
The site also features an interactive social network, where users can read the comics which have acquired, find out what friends are reading, make notes, comments, twitts, etc. All thought for the best, in way that readers and authors feel totally comfortable.
